Behavioral Intervention
Behavioral intervention services are based on Applied Behavior Analysis, it is evidence-based, and data driven. Each client’s program is individualized on his/her own unique skill, development and behaviors. Our services include:
Behavioral assessment and treatment
Parent training 1:1 and in groups
Consultation and personnel training
CARE’s programs are overseen by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA)
Speech Therapy
Speech therapy relies on evidence-based practice to personalized treatment in the areas of:
Improving functional communication
Improve language comprehension
Improving social interactions and engagement
Our speech and language pathologists are committed in providing quality speech assessment and treatment.
Infant Development: Ages 0-3 years
CARE’s infant development programs focus on 5 main domains: social-emotional, communication and language, cognitive, motor, and adaptive skills. Services are provided:
1:1 in home with early intervention specialist
1:1 Intensive infant development based on behavioral approach for infants/toddlers with behavioral concerns
Center-based group infant program for infants 12 months or older
All programs involve parents, as they are pivotal to the infant/toddler’s success
Our infant development program may include a multi-disciplinary team of Early Intervention Specialists, Behavior specialists, Speech and language pathologies, Occupational therapist, and/Physical Therapists, depending on the unique needs of your child.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy focuses on individualizing the needs of the client’s level and ability. Our approach is creative in utilizing evidence-based interventions to increase our client’s independence and participation in daily activities such as:
Self-care
Sensory processing
Fine and gross motor skills
Emotional regulation
Balance and coordination
Our occupational therapy focuses on reducing barriers to participation and focusing on the client’s unique skills and abilities.
Adaptive Skills Trainers work directly with clients to help them reach their highest level of independence and acquire age-appropriate skills such as:
Toilet training
Self-help skills (brushing teeth, bathing, wash hands, dressing, etc.)
Household routines (before/after school, homework, etc.)
Chores (making bed, washing dishes, setting the table, etc.)
Adaptive Skills
Adaptive skills training is an essential contribution to an individual’s success within the family and community.
