Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

OCD results in anxiety, repetitive thinking, and repetitive behavior. Repetitive behaviors (compulsions) may alleviate feeling of anxiety in the short run, but a pattern of obsessive-compulsive behavior can negatively impact all relationships the ability to accommodate change if not treated.

CARE’s approach to the treatment of OCD involves a collaborative approach between our BCBAs and Licensed counselors to address the compulsive behaviors and thought patterns that drive the behaviors.
