In-Center Educational Services

School-aged children often require more time in the classroom than is offered in a typical school year. CARE offers programs administered by professional clinicians designed to enhance emotional and behavioral skills, improve social skills, and provide structure and support during the summer months. A Summer Coach provides a bridge between school years to help the student maintain classroom skills, social skills, and greater independence.

Being inside the classrooms lets our therapists better understand the demands of the environment on our clients. The client learns the skills they need to master in the places they will use them.  The teacher benefits by receiving specific instructions that expand their own skills may help with other students.  The therapist’s involvement in the learning support program significantly improves communication between service providers and increases the number of practice opportunities.

CARE is a non-public agency certified through the California Department of Education (CDE) to provide in school behavioral, speech, occupational, and physical therapy, assessment and services.
